Mission

The CHS Athletic Boosters Association is an All-Volunteer, non-profit organization whose mission is to create an environment that produces the best student athletes in the county 

Vision

To develop an athletic atmosphere that allows our athletes to compete for State Championships at every level, in every program

Our organization raises funds primarily through the sale of food and drink at most stadium and gymnasium sporting events. We also sell “Chesapeake Athletics” SPIRIT goods (stadium chairs, cougar paw stickers, lanyards, etc.) and our corporate sponsor/advertising signs you see at the stadium.   We also work closely with the athletic department to support individual team fund raisers as needed.

Fund raising efforts are dedicated to three principle purposes:

     - Scholarships to deserving scholar athletes

     - Equipment purchase and improvements

     - Financial support to capital projects

In past years we have funded, either fully or in part, a sound system for the gym, the stadium Scoreboard, and weight room renovations.
