Kaelyn started her volleyball career in Portland, OR where she learned to play from the pioneers of the volleyball we know today and professional coaches. She then went on to play for the following 8 years at the national level for Legacy Volleyball Club and Oakland Elite Volleyball in Detroit as an Outside Hitter and DS. As a coach, she has coached for Class A Division 1 schools and elite clubs— and with a winning record. No season totaling more than 7 losses. Volleyball and coaching is her passion.
Kaelyn is also a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutritionist with other certifications in Sports Performance, Corrective Exercise, Weight Loss, and Behavior. She operates her own online training and nutrition business and runs charity for local farmers.

Peter is new to the Chesapeake Volleyball program. He has coached both JV and Varsity levels in grades 9 -12. He has coached the Department of the Army civilians and military members. Peter believes in building technical and tactical skills that instill the team spirit.

Mike Gimon is in his 17th year as Varsity volleyball coach and his fourth year as Head Track Coach. Mike started coaching here at CHS in 1997 at the throws coach and then became the JV Volleyball coach in 1998. In 2000, Mike was promoted to Head Varsity volleyball coach. Mike's goal in volleyball is to teach them the game so they feel empowered when they step on the court and take that with them when they step off the court and into their lives.
Mike took a break from Track and Field in 2007and returned in 2014 as Head Coach and oversee's the throws again. A thrower's goal is to pick things up and put them down very far away.
As a coach of both teams, the focus is on scholarship, sportmanship and fellowship.

She also played club 2 years at COT and 2 years for MVSA and then went on to play for 3 years at St. Mary's College of Maryland from 2010-2012 and 2014.
