Coach Elliott has been our Head Varsity Football Coach since the 2011 season. Prior to that, Coach Elliott also served as Head J.V. Football Coach for the 2009 & 2010 seasons.  Coach Elliott is the most successful coach in the 46 year history of the program. Coach Elliott has guided the program to an overall record of 62-49 in 11 seasons ath Chesapeake High School. Coach Elliott is also an alumnus of Chesapeake High School (1986), and lives in the community.

Coach Means is now in his thirteenth year as a coach at Chesapeake High School.  Coach Means is an assistant football and assistant lacrosse coach at Chesapeake.  Prior to coming to CHS, Coach Means coached in the Broadneck, North County, and Arundel athletic programs from 1990-2005.  Coach Means is a graduate of Severna Park High School, and the University of Maryland system.  Coach Means is currently in his fourteenth year of teaching at Chesapeake High School.  He teaches United States History and Maryland History in the Social Studies Department at CHS.  He is currently in his 28th year as a teacher in Anne Arundel County.

Paul Tolle is life long resident of Anne Arundel County and has resided in Pasadena, MD for over 42 years. Coach Tolle is a 1982 graduate of Chesapeake Senior High School, where he played four years of football, four years of wrestling under Ed Gilson and Bill Pritchard and played three years of baseball. Coach Tolle has coached high school football, wrestling, and baseball at Chesapeake over the past 25 years.  Coach Tolle was also the co-founder of the Mountain Road Optimist Youth Wrestling Team.

Coach Burton is in his second year as part of our coaching staff at CHS.  He will be coaching Quarterbacks/Wide Receivers, and will assist with Defensive Backs with the JV team. Coach Burton is a 2008 graduate of Chesapeake High School, played quarterback for the Varsity (2004-2007), and was selected for the All-County team following his senior season at Chesapeake High School. He was selected by the Baltimore Touchdown Club for the Senior All-Star game in 2007.

Coach Fagan was a Capital Gazette All-County selection in his Junior and Senior seasons.  He has coached Offensive Line for our JV program since 2021. Coach Fagan also has experience coaching with youth football with the Panthers organization.

Coach Curtin is returning for his fourth season coaching with our JV Football program, and will coach running backs and defensive backs.  Coach Curtin formerly coached at Arundel High School, and is a graduate of Salisbury University. Coach Curtin also teaches Math at Chesapeake High School.
