Teamwork led to Chesapeake's first county championship meet victory in school history at Arundel on Thursday.  Chesapeake packed 4 runners into the top 11 finishers in the race and their fifth runner ran the race of his life to secure the victory for the Cougars.

The day was an emotional one for the Cougars who have won every meet they have entered this year except one.  Thursday the Cougars held off the Falcons 54-61 to secure the CHAMPIONSHIP.

5th overall - Champion Alex Love

8th overall - Champion Ripken LaMarsh

10th overall - Champion Ted Tibert

11th overall - Champion Sam Phipps

20th overall - Champion Matt Fontaine

30th overall - Champion Michael Ferguson

34th overall - Champion DJ Drexel
