Chesapeake improved to 2-0 behind the complete game 1-hitter thrown by Haley Downin. Danielle Steward had a home run and 2-RBI. Brionna Bowman contributed an RBI single in the first inning to give Chesapeake the early lead. Howard scored there run on a 2-out RBI single by Paige Eakes.
