| Chesapeake scored 6 runs in the top of the 7th inning after Glen Burnie had tied the score on an infield error in the bottom of the 6th. Chesapeake's offense had 16 hits to produce 11 runs led by; Danielle Stewart's 4 for 5, double, triple and 3 RBI, Toni Braun was 3 for 4 with a double and 3 RBI and Ashley Smeltz was 2 for 4, run scored and 2 RBI. Glen Burnie kept chipping away at the Chesapeake 4 run lead after the top of the 1st. Scoring one in the bottom of the first, 2 in the 3rd and 2 in the 6th. Brooke McCormick was 3 for 4 and an RBI. Kayla Briles was 2 for 4 with a run scored, stolen base and Jordan Fangman was 2 for 3, run scored and a stolen base. |
