| The battle of Pasadena came down to the team that made the fewest mistakes won. Northeast scored 11 runs with 9 on the being unearned, while Chesapeake scored 6 runs with 3 unearned. Both offenses put the ball in play which made for an entertaining game for the fans. Northeast's pitcher Matulonis picked up the win throwing a complete game while Chesapeake's Downin took the loss. Eight of Northeast player had hits and two triples by Weddle and Dittmar turned out to be the deciding factors. Chesapeake was led by Hunter Royston who was 3 for 4 with a double, triple and 4 RBI. |
