| On Senior Night, Chesapeake won 3-2 in the bottom of the 8th on a line drive that scored Emily Kirby. Sr. Megan Hyson pitched Chesapeake to victory by allowing Northeast 2 runs on 4 hits while striking out 18. She also had a solo home run in the 1st inning and scored the tying run in the 6th inning on a single by Sr. Gabby Couture. Northeast was led by pitcher Steinbach who held Chesapeake to 3 runs on 6 hits with 3 strikeouts. Taylor Dittmar drove in both runs for Northeast in the 3rd inning on a singlr to right field. |
