A game between two good teams that came down to Chesapeake getting several key hits as they had 15 hits spread across the lineup. A total team effort which is what it takes to defeat the returning State Champions. On a very cold day the hitters had the better of the pitchers. It was a good early season test for both teams. So. Jacquline Richards had a big day while going 3 for 4 with 3 RBI, Sr. Megan Hyson was 3 for 3 with 4 runs scored and 2 RBI while Sr. Gabby Couture was 3 for 4 and an RBI. Sr. Megan Hyson improved her record to 4-0 with the victory while having 11 strikeouts. For Broadneck, Sr. Bekah Kiser was 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and 2 RBI.
