Cougars JV WON their 3rd game today against a tough South River squad, to improve to a 3 - 0 record on the season !!
Soph - Ryan Reinhardt pitched a superb 6 strong innings, striking out 8 and only walking 2 and allowing 2 earned runs. Ryan also helped himself at the plate a double and walk. Then Freshman, Chris Ruszin came in and slammed the door in the 7th for his 2nd Save of the season. Striking out all 3 batters in the 7th.
Hitting was strong early - John Drexel was 2 for 3 w/ a double and RBI, Karls was 2 for 4 w/ a RBI, Fisher 1 for 4 w/ 2 RBI's, Clayville was 3 for 4 w/ a RBi and Heiser was 1 for 3 w/ a BB.
