The Cougars started off their season with a tough match up against the Severna Park Falcons, losing 2-1 despite a strong team effort. Sophomore Eve Vickery recorded 11 saves in the game and the lone goal was scored by junior Rachel Fleig.
Later in the day, the team's offensive power was shown as they recorded a 6-1 win against Manchester Valley. Rachel Fleig (2 goals, 2 assists), Hannah McKeon (2 goals), Logan Beal (1 goal 1 assist), and Bridgette Tayman (1 goal) all scored for the Cougars with Eryn Beal also tallying 1 assist.
