The Varsity team got the season off to a good start with a 16-2 win over Oakland Mills. The team got going quick leading 8-0 after the 1st quarter. The offense was balanced with 3 different player record hat tricks (Andrew Beal, Talan Behler, Ricky Smith). The defense did not have a lot of work to do, but when called upon the unit was relentless.  The offense was able to keep possession of the ball most of the game thanks to the dominating play at the faceoff X by Drake Erisman (won all 14 faceoffs). The Cougars will look to keep this momentum on Friday when they play Crofton at home at 6:45 pm.
