Girls Varsity Field Hockey

Stacey Mackintosh is a South River alumni where she played field hockey, lacrosse and tennis. While at South River she was named female athlete of the year in 2012.  While playing field hockey she made first team all-county twice for the capital gazette, three-time first team all-county for Anne Arundel County coaches pick, first team all met for the Baltimore Sun and Washington Post, and first team all-state with the MD state field hockey coach’s association. She also played division I field hockey at Radford University and finished her field hockey career at Towson University. She graduated from Towson University with her BS in Exercise Science and graduated from Barry University in 2019 with her MS in Occupational Therapy. She previously was an assistant coach at Mount De Sales Academy where she helped lead the team to a successful winning season this past year. This is her fourth year as head coach at Chesapeake High School.
