Katelyn Rilee led the Girls Cross Country team to a fifth place finish at the 4A East Regional Championship meet at South River on Friday. 

The girls team finished in the top half of the region, qualifying them to run in the State Championship meet at Hereford on Saturday.  Rilee was 9th overall followed by the other four scoring runners: Danielle Madero-Craven, Alyx Cash, Megan Morgan and Lindsay Butterworth.

Juliette Mason and Julia Loudon rounded out the girls team.
