Katelyn Rilee led the Girls Cross Country team to third place at the Anne Arundel County Championship meet at Arundel on Thursday. 

The girls team had their finest performance of the year to surprise many of their opponents.  Rilee was 5th overall followed by the other four scoring runners: Danielle Madero-Craven 22nd, Alyx Cash 24th, Lindsey Butterworth 30th, and Megan Morgan 40th.

Also performing well in the county race were Juliette Mason, Julia Loudon, Nicole Wilson, Kristin Adair, Emily Cheatwood, and Samantha Guarnera.
